Axelbank Dr. Jeffrey Axelbank, (Clinical, 1992) has been awarded the Peterson Prize in recognition for his efforts on behalf of professional psychology and the rights of mental health patients. (read more)
Lerman Brad Lerman, (Organizational, 2003), director of the Inclusive Schools Climate Initiative (ISCI) at GSAPP, received an award totaling $1,848,173 from the NJ Department of Education to provide consultation to targeted schools in NJ in the promotion of school climate practices that best support a more inclusive environment for students with disabilities.
Cantor Dorothy Cantor (School) and Jane Hochberg (Clinical) are both being awarded Lifetime Acheivement awards by the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA). Dr. Cantor and Dr. Hochberg were both in GSAPP's first graduating class and received their PsyD degrees in May of 1976. Hochberg
Furrer Susan Furrer, (Clinical, 1990), executive director of the Center for Applied Psychology is the principal investigator of an award totaling $312,827. The project titled Piscataway School-Based Clinic: The Haven Program is being supported by the Piscataway Township Board of Education.
