Alumni & Friends

Dear GSAPP Alumni:

All GSAPP Alumni are members of the GSAPP Alumni Organization upon graduation.  If you are a new graduate or graduated many years ago, I welcome you.  You now join over 800 GSAPP PsyD graduates.

Your GSAPP Alumni Organization celebrated its 15th Anniversary on April 5, 2008 with a gala event at the Zimmerli Museum.

The GSAPP Alumni Organization supports educational, training and networking opportunities for GSAPP graduates, as well as supporting new students. Through donations from alumni and support from the school's Dean's office, the GSAPP Alumni Organization is able to offer programs of interest to the entire GSAPP community. Recently, we have hosted the Career Continuum Series of lectures and held a reception for students, faculty and alumni at the Zimmerli Museum in 2007.

We publish a newsletter twice a year, maintain a website and two listservs (one announcement only and one interactive). We also provide a scholarship to an incoming student, maintain an on-line job bank, offer mentoring and supervision to students and alumni, and assist in fund-raising for the school. We collaborate with GSAPP on a number of important projects.

Our alumni board meets four times a year on either a Saturday or Sunday morning, and is a wonderful way for GSAPP graduates to get more involved in your Alumni Organization. If you would like to join the board, please email me and I can give you more information.

I welcome your ideas as to how we can improve your Alumni Organization and make it meaningful and helpful to all alumni now and in the future.
