CONTINUOUS REGISTRATION

In general, students must register for at least 3 credits each Fall and Spring semester until you defend your Dissertation and meet all the requirements of the program for graduation or 3 credits in the fall, 2 credits in the spring and 1 credit in the summer. Students are permitted, however, to register for 1 dissertation credit for one semester only, preferably their last semester. Students may only register for 0 credits of Matriculation Continued with a request in writing and have received written approval from the Program Director for a leave of absence for a specified time period. Copies of such correspondence should be placed in your files in the Program Administrator's office. Such leave does not extend the University imposed time limitations for completing the degree: 7 years for students entering with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, or with a School Psychology Certificate; 8 years for those coming with a B.A., BA+, or non-psychology advanced degree.
